Reimagining a Mid-Century Dresser

Our artisans prepared the dresser to accept the new finish by stripping, bleaching (to remove the orange-y hues), and thoroughly sanding the wood. A custom finish comprised of an ebony stain with a custom glaze was applied before sealing with a matte clear coat to create a modern, elegant look. We polished the brass drawer pulls, removing the patina to achieve a chic and sexier result, and waxed the drawer glides to improve slide function.
