Revitaliste is a San Francisco–based, female-founded company on a mission to make it effortless to give new life to well-loved furniture. We work primarily with interior designers, serving as their one-stop partner for revitalizing well-crafted pieces through reupholstery, refinishing, lacquering, caning, powder coating, expert project management, and white-glove delivery.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re hiring a Social Media Manager to run Revitaliste’s Instagram with an editorial, design-forward aesthetic. This is a freelance contractor role (not an employee position), structured as a monthly retainer. Our Project Managers capture content in the field and workroom—you will not be responsible for on-site filming. You’ll translate raw assets into elevated posts and stories: directing capture needs, editing, writing, publishing, and engaging with our community. You’ll partner with our Account Managers (and Founder) to identify priority projects to spotlight.


WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Own a consistent weekly Instagram cadence across Reels, Carousels, and Stories

  • Edit photos/videos into luxury-quality, editorial content (clean pacing, typography restraint, color-corrected)

  • Write captions in Revitaliste’s brand voice (warm, witty, elevated) 

  • Create Capture Briefs (shot lists/moments needed) so our Project Managers capture exactly what you need

  • Community engagement (light): respond to comments and occasional DMs (as needed) 

  • Proactively comment on a target list of designers’ posts (staying top of mind)

  • Monitor tags/mentions and reshare opportunities 

  • Create and maintain simple, on-brand templates for recurring Story/post series 

  • Share a quick weekly recap, including any notable engagement from designers


ABOUT YOU

  • Portfolio showing Instagram work for a premium / design-forward brand

  • Exceptional eye for high-end interiors and designer-facing content; you can make craft and process feel editorial

  • Strong short-form editing skills (pacing, typography, polish, color correction)

  • Strong copywriting with an elevated tone 

  • Highly organized and deadline-reliable; comfortable with calendars, checklists, and approvals

  • Comfortable working within a structured weekly workflow (content calendar, batch approvals, simple scorecard)

  • Comfortable collaborating across teams and following brand standards


SCOPE + TIME 

Final scope will be confirmed together, but the initial target cadence is:

  • Feed: ~2 posts/week (mix of Reels + Carousels)

  • Stories: 3–5 Story sets/week

  • Engagement: quick daily check-ins (M–F, Pacific Time business hours)


COMPENSATION & HOURS

  • Part-time contractor role (estimated 8–12 hours/week) 

  • Monthly retainer, paid monthly (based on experience and scope)
