Vintage Dresser Restoration

Many DIY restoration attempts left layers of latex paint on top of this dresser’s cracked veneer. But our client loved the undulated drawer design of this vintage dresser and was determined to bring it back to its original beauty.  Learn more about the project here.

The dresser was fully stripped to remove all existing latex paint. The veneer was repaired where it had been chipped, dented, or detached. We refinished the dresser with a white semi-gloss lacquer. The original holes for the drawer pulls were filled and a single hole was drilled for new marquise-cut pink glass drawer pulls.
