Vintage Bergère Chair Makeover

Interior design firm Studio Munroe decided to bring this frumpy Bergère chair up-to-date. The transformation gave it a modern refresh while still honoring the traditional detailing.

The vintage Bergère chair was reupholstered in a bold botanical fabric by Christopher Farr Cloth - “La Floret” in a berry colorway. To highlight the soft, classic lines of the chair, we created a contrast welt using a black and white ticking stripe fabric from Pindler, and the wooden frame were refinished in a matte black wood stain.
