Revitaliste is a unique technology start-up in the interior design space based in San Francisco, CA. We are transforming how consumers view and re/use furniture. The company was founded on the belief that if it were easier for people to revitalize furniture that already exists (vintage, antique, pre-owned) then they’d do it more often. We have developed a  comprehensive, online service offering that simplifies the entire revitalization process - including delivery services, design services, fabric/material procurement and expert project management. All our services are accessed via the web so clients never need to leave their home to revitalize their favorite pieces. We work with both the design trade as well as end consumers. Revitaliste launched in late 2015 and has been growing rapidly in the Bay Area; we will be rolling out our service offering in new markets throughout 2018.

We are looking for interns who are committed to pursuing a career in design, passionate about furniture design, pride themselves on having a great aesthetic, and are highly focused and efficient in their work. Interns will have the unique opportunity to develop an in-depth knowledge of the wood restoration/refinishing world by helping us curate an extensive wood finish library (lacquers, ceruses, faux finishes, glazes, etc). This library will be the foundation for our rapidly growing online design guidance service. Additionally, interns will learn firsthand how we translate this curated library into a social media platform that helps drive revenue for Revitaliste.

This is a paid (or for-credit) internship, commencing January 3, 2018 and culminating May 23, 2018 - we need a minimum weekly commitment of 10 hours for the duration of the internship. Interns will work directly with the design director and studio director of Revitaliste. Work will be performed in our offices in San Francisco (Presidio Heights) and the SF Design Center. Interns will be reimbursed for all travel related to this project.
